I don't learn anything from this, except realising that the teacher has all the answers! Let's do this, and then do this. And know, let's do this. A teacher would rather: We want to achieve A, so therefore the simplest thing to do would be to try X, but you see how we are not getting quite A, so let's then try Y. There you go! This is not trolling, this is how I would like to learn. Thx

Hi Julian,
The fundamental understanding when using an evolutionary solver is knowing how it works and that means knowing the difference between finding a local vs global optimum amongst other things. I use the most simple concept to explain this is to think of a landscape with peaks and valleys (as I explained in the previous lesson). This is a holisitc course, meaning this lesson cannot be seen independently from the next one and previous ones. They have to be seen in the bigger picture of explaining the fundamental workings of evolutionary solvers through a visual way, the landscape with peaks and valleys. My apologies if this was not clear.
