Hey Arie! Just went through the entire module and I have learned so much about the importance of being able not just to "generate data" but to be able to "organize data"! Since I am new to parametric modelling I found 102 very challenging (especially data trees part II) due to the amount of components used but in the final lesson it felt wonderful to see those gradients popping up while having all the other cells "under control" ! I feel that for my next module on the website a full hands (practical) approach is the way to go! Which of the available modules would you recommend since they all seem to be "expert level now"! Thanks in advance!

Hey Arie,
Thanks for the response! Great to hear about updating the fundamentals 101-102 to the new Rhino 7!
I am looking forward on following those two modules that you recommended! (The absolute one I just completed today haha...I think you saw me posting a question there.
Anyways, in the end the solution came from content present in 101/102, so the structure of the course works! The tools were there, I just had to go back to the notes I made and apply it!
All the best,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,
Thanks for your kind words! This was a difficult module to make because it deals with the boring (but very important to understand) fundamentals of how Grasshopper stores and organizes data. We're in the process of redoing the Grasshopper 101 and 102 using the latest Rhino 7, and we'll be sure to include some practical examples to show when and how data organization can benefit you.
Looking at the notes you made, you're getting the hang of how data flows in Grasshopper and what the various components do, great!
I would recommend https://thinkparametric.com/courses/modularization-rationalization/ or https://thinkparametric.com/courses/deconstructing-the-serpentine-wall or https://thinkparametric.com/courses/design-a-skyscraper-absolute-towers (although this one is bit dated)
They're building on top of using Grasshopper to create more interesting geometry and controlling it with parameters.
Best,
Arie

Hi Arie,
I started to learn grashopper but the lack of examples creates lack of design possibilities for me as an Interior Architect. For example you tought me the re-mapping those square grids but how can I apply them into subdivided model in rhino7 is the problem that I facing with right now. You are doing the best to make it down into more simple way to understand but that was my concern about my future design workflows. I just could not found any example about how to apply those re-mappings or parametric modellings on to SubD models which I designed in Rh7. Thank you for reading my comment and apologize if I have mistaken words.
Regards..
