I recently finished several courses related to Grasshopper and related tools here on Thinkparametric. I'm just wondering how Dynamo stands out in comparison to Grasshopper workflow.

Hi Prateek!
Dynamo is a Revit plugin as you're probably well aware and Grasshopper is for Rhino. The difference between the two lies in the difference between Revit and Rhino. Rhino excels in free-form modeling and Revit in BIM and documentation, Dynamo and Grasshopper amplify these. Obviously you can do free-form modeling in Revit and do some BIM in Rhino, but it's not meant for that. The workflow of Dynamo and Grasshopper are very similar. Both use visual programming, have a left-to-right logic, they use components with in- and outputs and within the components the algorithm runs.
This is in short the main differences.
Cheers!
