Smooth toggle is unable to convert object

I am having trouble with "smooth toggle" after I have created the mesh.

Hi there, Im still unable to smooth toggle, i have tried welding the vertices and it mentions that my object is not manifold.

Hi Vanessa! Turning your mesh into a smooth representation is only possible if the mesh is manifold. Look at the link for clarification. http://sergio-matsak.blogspot.mx/2017/12/mesh-has-non-manifold-uvs-clean-up-mesh.html You either have two face connected with only one vertice or you have more then two faces sharing the same edge. You have to fix those issues before smooth toggle will work, I hope this makes sense. Good luck! Arie

I have the same problem and tried to do the above two steps but it still doesn't work. Any help?

Hello, Having the same problem! I tried hte weld vertices and got a pop message saying t splines are now rhino objects, but it still wont smoothen out when commanded so

Hi Habiba! What happens if you select the Rhino object (which should be a mesh), go to the T-spline toolbar and click "Convert NURBS or mesh to T-spline". This should make it a T-spline mesh. After that, click the smooth toggle and this should turn it into a smooth mesh. Let me know if this worked Arie

Hi Erik, What seems to be the problem? You get an error? Or T-splines crashes (that sometimes happens). What you could try is to type in the command _Weldvertices; select the mesh > select all the vertices and hit enter. This will make sure all the vertices are nicely welded together. If this is not the case, sometimes the smooth toggle may not work. Let me know if this works out. Cheers! Arie
