Ok again in this video I see the sliders renaming themselves the moment you plug them into the Grid component right at the beginning. How is this happening?

Automatic renaming of sliders? How?

If I have the "Draw full name" ON the sliders don't rename themselves, if I have it OFF they do.

Hi Leo! Most components in Grasshopper do this automatically, it should also work in your case. I'm using Grasshopper version 0.9.0076, you can check your version by going to Help > About... in the Grasshopper menu bar. Makes sure you have this version or higher. On a side note: If you're into coding you can also do this yourself if you create your own Python, VB.Net or C# component. See this attached example to get you started using ghPython. Double-click the component to open the edit code window. Try to fiddle around with the code and see what happens.
