Has anyone discovered an easy fix for this. The question has been asked, but I haven't seen an answer. It seems an anchor point must be included in the load component for the object to respond properly. If points are moved outside the domain of the surface they also are not computed. Is there an easy fix or must the definition be restructured?

Hi Arie Willem de Jongh,
Problem with adding point.
The updated definition is working with 4 anchor points, but it is still not working with adding one more point.
As you can see below image, 5 points are selected, but there are just 4 targets in the Anchor.
Did I miss something?

Hi SungBok!
Ah yes, it's because I get the 4 corner points from the surface, to sort from your anchor points to choose the correct ones. If you provide more than 4 in the anchor points, it will select doubles from the 4 surface corner points. I rewrote the definition, (Lesson 3_v2.gh), please download the assets again. What it does now, is select the closest mesh points from the surface as anchors, looking at your input anchor points.
I hope it makes sense, let me know if this is what you'd like to achieve
Cheers!

Hi Matthew!
The new Kangaroo 2 Anchor component has a location you'd like your points to be pulled towards (the T input). So you connect your 4 corner points from the surface into the P input, and your 4 anchor points from Rhino into the T. This way you'll be able to move them around and see the catenary mesh move with it, without the definition crashing.
I've updated the assets from this course and included Lesson 3_v2.gh. In this lesson I've created a definition that does all the above.
Please download the assets again and open this definition.
Let me know if this worked for you .
Cheers!

Hi i'm having the same problem, when i work with 4 points it works well but when i try to move one of them the mesh snaps from that point instead of moving with the point and also i can't add another point if i put one more it just get ignored. I tried seen the update of the assets but it won't let me open the file it says there is a problem with it and can´t be opened. Or there is something i am missing or doing wrong?
