Hi Lurii! Yes, for sure you could also use the interpolate curve command. It depends on your preference. The only issue is that you can't control the amount and location of the control points, that's why personally I prefer to use the draw curve from control points, it is like you mentioned, a little harder to get the shape of the curve right.
