In my case, when I hit shift +R-mouse, the cursor became a dot.

Hi Diana,Are you running a command by any chance? It looks like you&#x27;re about to start drawing a point or (poly)line.Could you hit escape a couple of times and then first press and hold your SHIFT and then click and drag your Right Mouse Button?Let me know if this worksBest,Arie
