I tried to add the bool variable to the Python button in the grasshopper window,

I tried to add the bool variable to the Python button in the grasshopper window, and when I add and write in bool, for some reason, when I hover over the variable, it has the title x(bool) rather than bool. It is throwing a whole bunch of errors in the code. I know that is the only problem also because I used the code you provided to make sure I did not miss anything. So how do I fix that?
