I had to use 'weld mesh vertices' instead of just 'weld mesh'. Not sure what I'm doing wrong/if there is a major difference.

Hi Charlie, maybe this was not clear, but at 6:17 a right click is used. This so you execute the "weld selected mesh vertices", like you mentioned.Cheers!
