How can I extrude curve as a solid to create openings on curvelinear shell?

Question

I used "shell" command as you showed and drawed a curve on one of its sides with "interpolate on surface". Now because it is not planer curve I cant extrude as a solid so it is not possible for me to use "Boolean Differance" command. I dont want to trim it either becauce I want a solid shape at the end of the Boolean Differance. So is it possible to extrude that curve as a solid which I drawed on that kind of surface. Hey so I found 2 ways to do it. First and long way; first choose the face and use " Surface from 2,3,4 edges" command. After that transform your curve to surface. Now you can extrude it without any problem as a solid. Short way is; use "Unroll surface to take the shape of the face. then simply draw what openings you want to draw and use "Flow along Surface" command to fit it on the object then use same process as the previous way.
