Hi The Shift Path Component wasnt in the last lesson, could you please explain the function here pls? thanks

Hi Katie,
Shift Paths component will shift the indices of the paths one back. It's the oposite of doing a Graft operation.
Below is an image that explains it a bit better, I have a grid with 6 branches and in each branch 6 points.
Then I graft them, so each point now has its own branch and then I shift the paths one back so we arrive at the initial 6 branches containing 6 points, each.
If this still sounds like hocus pocus, don't worry trees and branches are hard to grasp at first. I'd adivse you to watch the Grasshopper 102 here:
