I completely missed your question, sorry about that. When you're using multiple fitness values, you always optimize for 0.
So 0, is the "best" or the most optimum we can get. In other words the bigger the view ray value is, the closer it needs to get to 0. And vice versa; 1 is the "worst" or least optimal value, or low values of the view distance. I believe I explained this when we start using the multiple inputs. Try to input some individual sliders with some values and play around with them to see the effect. I hope it is a bit more clear, good luck!
